To unlock the Infuse Weapon skill, players must first complete the Trial of Sekhmas or the Trial of Chaos, two class-specific challenges tied to the Huntress's progression. Successfully completing either trial allows the player to choose the Amazon Ascension, one of POE 2 Currency Orbs several class specializations.

The Elemental Infusion node—available early in the Ascension—only requires 2 Ascension Points, meaning that players can access Infuse Weapon fairly early, even by completing a lower-difficulty version of the trial.

Importantly, Infuse Weapon is a passive skill, meaning it does not occupy a skill gem slot and is not manually activated. Instead, it functions invisibly in the background, triggering automatically under specific conditions. This also means that only Huntress characters who have taken the Amazon Ascension can access this skill—other classes and Ascensions cannot benefit from it.
